Ecopark PIlar de la Horadada
A wide range of items can be taken to the municipal ecopark
The municipal ecopark is located in the outlying industrial estate of Cañada de Praes, about two kilometers north-west of Pilar on the road to Orihuela. Beware: Cañada de Praes is not exactly well signposted, and you could be forgiven for driving through it without noticing! The right turn is just before a large garden centre…
Turn right at the far end of the estate if you’re travelling out of Pilar de la Horadada, and the facility is in the far corner. It is open from 7.45 until 14.00 every day except Sundays.
Among the items which can be delivered to the ecopark are the following:
Used industrial oil
Used domestic oil (up to 10 litres per delivery)
X-rays
Fluorescent light bulbs
Car batteries (one per delivery)
Building materials (up to 0.5m3 or 30kg per delivery)
Paints and solvents
Clothes (up to 10kg per delivery)
Packaging (up to 0.5m3 or 30kg per delivery)
Electrical goods
Paper and cardboard
Glass
Tyres
For large deliveries of garden waste please contact the centre before taking the waste to the ecopark.
Address: Polígono Industrial Cañada de Praes, corner of c/Pintores with c/Fontaneros. ( fairly close to Lo Romero Golf)
