Click HereThe Gypsy Company present “Cabaret, El Gran Show”, a new spectacle full of feathers, glitzy glamour and fun, inspired on some of the best cabaraets in the world. For an hour and 40 minutes audiences are taken on a voyage from the 1920s to the 1980s as a madame from the Bohemian quarter of Paris visits a range of shows drawing on numbers from the Moulin Rouge and the Folies Bergères. Among other locations, she visits Hollywood and the decadence of German cabaret clubs in the 1930s, also seeing New York and the London clubs of the 30s and 40s, some of which survived until the 1970s.
Among the characters she meets along the way are Edith Piaf, Marlene Dietrich, Frank Sinatra, Ava Gardner, Liza Minnelli, Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers and Charles Chaplin, and the staging will captivate all those who see the performance.
The performance at the Auditorio Infanta Doña Elena on July 13 begins at 20.00 with tickets priced at 10 euros and available online here.
