Mix of sunshine and rain ahead: Alicante weather forecast April 21-24
An Atlantic front will mean a return of the rain on Tuesday, but the weather will brighten up across Alicante province from Wednesday

Average temperatures expected on Thursday April 24
This Easter was one of the rainiest Alicante has ever experienced and while we can’t bid farewell to the damp just yet, the outlook is far better over the coming days. The week will start on a bit of a low note with more showery episodes but from Wednesday, the skies will clear, the rain will dry up and the sunshine will make a very welcome return.
Monday April 21

Monday will be mostly clear and bright, although the skies will darken inland from the afternoon onwards. Daytime temperatures will rise across the board but it will be quite breezy along the coast.
Tuesday April 22

The unsettled weather will make a reappearance on Tuesday, with scattered showers and occasional thunderstorms likely. However, the rain will clear up towards the evening, reducing the cloud cover.
Tuesday will be a couple of degrees cooler than Monday in most parts but the evening will be mild.
Wednesday April 23

Although there’s a chance of afternoon showers inland, for the most part Wednesday promises to be bright and sunny with some coastal breezes. Unfortunately the temperatures will take a bit of a hit, but the likes of Orihuela and Elche will still reach 23ºC or 24ºC.
Thursday April 24

The temperatures will shoot up on Thursday during what is forecast to be a gloriously sunny day throughout the province. Along the coast, light, variable winds will be southerly in the afternoon, but they could turn blustery at times.
Minimum and maximum temperatures in Alicante this week
- Monday April 21: Min 8ºC; Max 27ºC
- Tuesday April 22: Min 9ºC; Max 25ºC
- Wednesday April 23: Min 8ºC; Max 24ºC
- Thursday April 24: Min 10ºC; Max 29ºC
