Totana railway station

The rail journey between Totana and Murcia takes around half an hour

Like many towns in Spain, Totana is endowed with a railway station which is not actually in the town centre but in the outskirts, although in this case it is at least close to the edge of the built-up area.

The Renfe station is a quarter of an hour’s walk from the Town Hall and the Plaza de la Constitución in the centre of Totana, in the southern outskirts close to the road to Mazarrón.

The services available take passengers on the line which runs from Murcia capital to Águilas, calling at Alcantarilla, Librilla and Alhama between Murcia and Totana. Further west the next stops are at La Hoya and Lorca, where many services terminate.

However, the final stretch of the line takes passengers between Lorca and Águilas via Puerto Lumbreras, Almendricos, Pulpí and Jaravía.

Journey times are between 27 and 38 minutes to Murcia, and timetables can be consulted at the Renfe site.(www.renfe.es)

Shuttle bus connecting Corvera Airport with key destinations

 

Started on May 22, 2025, Airport Buses has a daily shuttle transfer service connecting the Region of Murcia International Airport with key destinations across Murcia, southern Alicante and Almería, every time there is a direct flight between Corvera Airport and a destination in the UK or Ireland, plus selected European flights.

 

Three initial routes serve:

 

1. La Manga route: Murcia Airport, Cabo de Palos, Playa Honda, Capfun, Mar de Cristal, Los Belones, La Manga Club, Cartagena and La Manga Strip (€12.99-€19.99/adult each way)
2. Torrevieja route: Murcia Airport, Torre Pacheco, Las Terrazas de La Torre Golf Resort, La Torre Golf Resort, Roldan, ONA Mar Menor Golf Resort, Los Alcázares, Los Narejos, San Javier, Santiago de Ribera, Lo Pagán, San Pedro de Pinatar, Pilar de Horadada, Campoamor, La Zenia, Playa Flamenca, Mil Palmeras, Cabo Roig and Torrevieja (€8.99-€19.99/adult each way)
3. San Juan route: Murcia Airport, Condado de Alhama, Camposol, Mazarrón Country Club, Puerto de Mazarrón, Mazarrón, Águilas, Calarreona, San Juan de los Terreros and Mar de Pulpí (€13.99-€25.99/adult each way)
