Two brand-new flight routes start this weekend from Murcia Corvera airport
New Barcelona and Madrid flights kick off at Corvera today and Sunday!
Today, Friday December 1, is the first day that the new flight route between the Region of Murcia International Airport and Adolfo Suárez Madrid Barajas airport is in operation.
Not only that, but this Sunday December 3, the new flight connection between Murcia and Barcelona’s El Prat airport starts up.
Both routes are operated by Spanish low-cost airline Volotea, and will be available all year round.
Flights are on sale now from just 24 euros on the Volotea website.
As well as the new connections within Spain, more international flight destinations have already been announced to begin from Murcia airport from summer 2024.
This comes on the same day that President of the Region of Murcia, Fernando López Miras, communicated to the Spanish ambassador in Belgium, Alberto Antón, about the recovery of the flight connections between Murcia and Belgium from March of next year.
Airline TUIfly will operate flights between Murcia and the Belgian airports in Antwerp and Bruges-Ostend. Flights already on sale on their website, but for the moment it seems that the Brussels Charleroi flights will not be returning for the 2024 summer flight season.
